53.4 pounds down (18.2 since Ozempic)

I FOUND ONEDERLAND!!! It’s taken close to two years to find it but I am so incredibly proud. Well more like five years actually, but June will be two years since starting my health journey.
I literally cried when I saw the “1” on the scale. This has been my largest milestone to date! I started following the “All In” program with Weight Watchers a few weeks ago and have had a loss every week consistently and broke my three month plateau. It’s a new program that they just rolled out this month that is a little more disciplined (no weeklies, no activity points, no rollovers etc.). My word of the year for 2026 is “Discipline” so I thought it would be good to put that into action and attempt the new program. It’s working so far! I am also continuing my word from last year, “Joy”, because it means a lot to me. I have to find joy in this journey to keep going! Fortunately I have been really enjoying myself and finding joy every day!
I am also celebrating being one year alcohol free this weekend! I made that decision after my large mental health episode last year and decided that my health would be better without alcohol affecting my medications and mental health. I actually started by committing to “Dry February” last year and by the end of the month I had lost 11 pounds, my skin cleared up, my mood regulated and I just felt all around healthier. I decided to keep going because I felt so good! I’m so proud of myself that I’ve made it to one year! I feel so grounded and stable. This is definitely my new normal!
In other news, I am also making a lot of changes to my medications this year. I told my care team that I wanted to change almost everything that I am on to battle side effects I have been facing for a long time (that just came to light that they were from my meds). But there is this new medication that is an antipsychotic and a mood stabilizer that can replace three medications that I am on! Isn’t that great?! So grateful! I really hope it works out. I start it next week.

One recipe that is incredibly noteworthy that I found on the WW site is this curried sweet potato, carrot and apple soup. It was absolutely incredible.
Here it is:
Curried Sweet Potato, Carrot and Apple Soup
Serves: 6
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 ¾ tsp kosher salt
- 3 cups carrots, chopped
- 3 cups sweet potato, chopped
- 2 large Macintosh apples, peeled and chopped
- 2 tsp minced ginger
- 1 tsp curry powder
- 4 cups reduced-sodium chicken broth or vegetable broth
- 3 tbsp plain low-fat Greek yogurt
- 1 tsp dark brown sugar
- ⅓ cup uncooked scallions
Instructions
- In a large soup pot, heat the butter over medium heat.
- Add the onion and salt. Cook, stirring frequently, until softened (about 5–7 minutes).
- Add carrots, sweet potatoes, apples, ginger, and curry powder. Stir to combine.
- Pour in the broth and stir. Increase heat to high and bring to a boil.
- Cover the pot, reduce heat to medium, and simmer until vegetables are very soft, about 25–30 minutes.
- Use an immersion blender or a blender to blend. Serve hot and garnish with scallions!

(non alcoholic wine and homemade buns for the win!)
Until next time
